If you have these qualities, Vanderpump Hotel may have a job for you.
The soon-to-open Strip boutique hotel-casino, formerly known as The Cromwell, is hosting a hiring event from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 16 on the rooftop of the 188-room Caesars Entertainment property.
Opportunities exist in food and beverage, casino operations, hotel operations, housekeeping, security and technology.
“We are looking for individuals who understand that exceptional hospitality is an art form,” Caesars wrote on Instagram. “If you have confidence, charisma and professionalism to shine, this is your moment.”
Anyone interested can check in on the casino floor next to Starbucks. Parking will be validated. Job applications are also accepted at caesars.com/careers.
Guests can now book rooms at The Vanderpump Hotel for stays beginning May 29, a Friday. The room rate is $499 plus a resort fee of $55 per night. The rate drops to $249 on June 1, a Monday.
The hotel renovation is the latest Las Vegas offering stemming from a partnership between Caesars Entertainment and reality TV personality Lisa Vanderpump. The two sides have already collaborated on several projects in Las Vegas, including Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace hotel-casino, Vanderpump à Paris at Paris hotel-casino and Pinky’s by Vanderpump at Flamingo hotel-casino.
“Las Vegas has always embraced reinvention, and Lisa’s vision brings a new kind of boutique experience to the heart of the Strip,” Sean McBurney, chief commercial officer and regional president of Caesars Entertainment, said in a recent statement. “Her work ethic and keen eye for design is second to none, and we are fortunate to have that level of talent shaping this hotel.”
Renovation of the property is underway, with plans to update all hotel rooms and suites, as well as the lobby, casino floor and other public areas. A new lounge is also expected to be added.
The casino and the property’s lone restaurant, Giada, will remain open while hotel rooms are renovated, as will Drai’s After Hours nightclub and Interlude lounge.
“Taking the next step from restaurateur to hotelier and once again partnering with Caesars Entertainment on another extraordinary project has been such an exciting chapter for me,” Vanderpump said in a statement. “Our vision was to create a room that feels like a true retreat, a calming escape just steps away from the energy and excitement of the casino floor. The rooms are as beautiful as they are tranquil.”
The resort at Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard has taken on multiple identities since opening in 1979 as the Barbary Coast. It later operated as Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall & Saloon after a change of ownership between Boyd Gaming and Harrah’s Entertainment, before reopening as The Cromwell in 2014.
