The Plaza Casino in downtown Las Vegas will celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary by hosting a special $250,000 Super Bingo event July 4-5.
The quarter-million dollar prize purse is the largest ever offered for the monthly Super Bingo event at the Plaza, which on July 2 will also celebrate its 55th anniversary.
“The Plaza will celebrate its 55th anniversary and the 250th anniversary of our great country this July, so it’s only fitting that we make our Super Bingo event that month our biggest and best ever,” Plaza CEO Jonathan Jossel said in a statement. “Our Super Bingo events have always drawn packed crowds to our convention space, and we expect the July event to sell out quickly.”
Super Bingo usually draws close to 1,000 people from across the country. Bingo-only registration is $250 per person for the special event, with games on Saturday, July 4th and Sunday, July 5th. All Super Bingo players receive a 6-of paper for both days, two daubers, free drinks via an open bar at all sessions, packed lunches both days and $10 in free slots after the first day’s session. The Plaza will also provide an ice cream float bar, Pinkbox Donuts and a photo booth.
The event will feature 20 games paying $1,999 each, with a $60,000 super overall, $15,000 second place and $10,020 third place each day.
Players can also add a five-night hotel package for $200 per person, no resort fee, for check-in on Thursday, July 2 and check-out on Monday, July 6.
The Plaza will also display rooftop fireworks on July 3rd and 4th.
