Lehecka delivered a dominant performance in just 75 minutes to reach his first ATP Masters 1000 final. The Czech Republic did not face a single break point throughout the match, breaking Fils four times while hitting the ball cleanly from both wings.
He avenged his last Doha quarter-final loss against the Fils, leveling their H2H at 2-2. Lehecka becomes the first player to reach a Masters 1000 final without dropping serve since Novak Djokovic in Shanghai 2018.
This is his second Masters 1000 semi-final (after Madrid 2024, where he retired injured), and he will move to a career-high No. 14 (or No. 12 if he wins the title) in the live rankings.
