A sell-out Wembley Stadium hosted one of the internet’s biggest real-life spectacles yesterday (April 18), as 90,000 fans watched the YouTube AllStars knock out Sidemen FC in the annual Sidemen Charity Match.
Before kick-off, Victor set the tone with an energetic DJ set that warmed up the massive crowd just moments before the action began.
The match wasted no time in delivering drama. Angry Ginge opened the scoring just eight minutes in, giving the YouTube AllStars the early lead. Sidemen responded quickly, with Toby Brown scored his first goal just three minutes later.
What followed was a hectic first half packed with goals from some of the platform’s biggest names. Marlon, Minutes, Chris MD, Jynxziand Italian Bach all found the back of the net in a relentless exchange. Minutes added a second just before the break, bringing the score to a perfectly balanced 4–4 at the break.
But the entertainment did not end with football. During the interval, Tiny book appeared on the stadium screens from the locker rooms, surrounded by players, and launched into his breakout hit “Written In The Stars”. Moments later he appeared stageside to a roar from the crowd and delivered a surprise live set that included “fit out” before ending with his latest single, “Living the Life”.

The second half opened with a moment that felt tailor-made for Sidemen mayhem. After being shown a yellow card by the former Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg for a challenge on Marlon, Max Foch turned directly to the cameras, setting fire to the card and making it disappear—an instant addition to the event’s growing catalog of viral highlights.
Back on the field, the goals continued to come at an almost absurd pace. Danny Aarons, Nykchazza, AJ Tiger, Zerkaa, Victor, AB, KSI, Niko Omilan, Jynxziand Minutes everyone added their names to the score sheet in breathless play. With the score locked at 10–10, Italian Bach shot in the last goal of regular time, sending the game to penalties.
The shootout began with an unusual twist as the team manager stepped up first. Calfreezy cool converted for YouTube AllStars, while Jack Joseph missed his effort for Sidemen FC, which immediately put his side under pressure. From there, the AllStars kept their composure, took the lead in the shootout, and secured a 4–1 victory on penalties – crowning the YouTube AllStars champions of the 2026 Sidemen Charity Match.
After the game, it was announced that a record £6.2 million had been raised for the charities Light side and M7 Training at the match, up from £4.7m last year.
Mixing sport, music and internet culture on a massive scale, the Sidemen Charity Match showed once again why it has become one of the UK’s most unique live events.
