After a breakout run that included a UK headline tour and a performance at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekendrising British singer-songwriter Find Forster keeps the momentum going with the release of the video for his latest single, “Strangers”.
Directed by Forster himself, the emotional visual brings the song’s themes of love, loss and missed connections to life. The video follows two former lovers who now lead separate lives, while a parallel contemporary dance performance by two young dancers reflects their history and reinforces the track’s poignant lyrics.
“Strangers” got its first airplay on BBC Radio 1 during Jack Saunders and From Eleri’s The road to R1BW show, where Forster joined the presenters live on air. The single marks the beginning of a new chapter for “Can’t reverse” singer and provides an early glimpse of a larger body of work expected in the coming months.
Commenting on the track, Finn explains: ““Strangers” is about the full circle moments you have with someone in a relationship. Going from complete strangers, to being in love or meaning everything to them, then going back to acting like strangers again. It’s one of those songs for me that came to me when I least expected it, and became a finished song really quickly. It doesn’t always come together that quickly, but it’s something that feels incredibly raw and real when a song literally falls out of me like that.”

“Strangers” arrived as Forster completed his biggest UK headline tour to date, a 12-date run that saw the majority of shows sold out, further cementing his status as one of the UK’s most promising emerging artists. The singer-songwriter will keep the momentum going all summer with appearances at major festivals including Isle of Wight Festival, TRNSMT and Board Master.
Later this year, Finn will return to the road supporting the New York rock act Stones. The tour kicks off in the UK in October before continuing across Europe.
