Amid a March heat wave in Las Vegas, an off-Strip casino is offering locals discounted pool daybeds.
Red Rock Resort offers standard and deluxe daybeds for $50 Monday through Friday when guests show their Nevada ID.
The Red Rock pool is open 10am-5pm and the kitchen is open 10am-4pm. The offer is valid during non-high season. The high pool season at Las Vegas hotels usually runs from May to August.
The resort pools are open across the entire valley.
Virgin Hotels is rolling out several pool experiences this year, including an all-ages main deck and two more pools opening in May. The adults-only Kassi Beach Club returns on March 27 before transitioning to daily service in April.
The resort places extra emphasis on accessible pricing, with weekday cabanas and daybeds starting at $99, and a locals rate of $75 with no entry fee and no food and beverage minimum. Day passes for non-hotel guests start at $20.
Virgin’s line-up expands again on May 1, when the Terrace Pool and Dish Pool debut in the high summer season, operating Friday through Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Palms is offering free cabanas to locals through April 30, excluding the NCAA Tournament viewing party weekend. The resort will keep the locals offer Sunday to Friday starting May 1.
Fontainebleau launched its 6-acre Oasis Pool on March 6, offering multiple pool environments, a gaming area, pool restaurant La Côte and the return of daytime LIV Beach. Daybeds and cabanas start at $200, while day passes for locals cost $25.
