With his new single ‘SKITTLES’, Matt Terry has served up a delicious dose of pop that is impossible to resist. Bursting with energy, the pulsating track is ear candy and knows exactly how to hit the sweet spot.
Matt created “SKITTLES” as a playful way to reflect on his first experiences dating men. After coming out and embracing her true colors, the former Factor winner is living life to the fullest. He co-wrote the catchy song with Jack Champion Morgan and Sean Poole.
Matt Terry said of the inspiration for his new single: “Since I came out a little later in life, I had no experience when it came to dating other guys. It was something I was very unsure about. I felt that people I dated or encountered had already, here’s the metaphor, tasted the rainbow and I was just a cone on the tip of their tongue. Just another cone out of the pack. I really struggled with it. Of course it’s very different today but back then I was struggling so that’s what this song is about and I really hope you like it.“
‘SKITTLES’ is here on all digital platforms and it has all the ingredients for success. The track follows “SUPERGLUE!” and it serves as the second single lifted from Matt’s upcoming ‘Party In My Room’ EP which is scheduled for release on May 22nd.
