Kevin Jonas has announced that he will be releasing his brand new solo single, ‘Little Things’, on May 15th.
The Jonas Brothers member made his solo debut last year with the song ‘Changing’ after performing the song live during the group’s tour. Galvanized by the response and energy of a brand new creative season, Kevin continued writing and recording in earnest and is now on an exciting new journey having found his voice.
“It took me 15 years to feel confident making music on my own,” he admits. “I finally found a song, and it was everything I’d been looking for. It unlocked the sound. The search was over and I could build on it.”
“Little Things” is an intimate follow-up single dedicated to his wife Danielle. Backed by an airy keyboard loop, he reveals all his favorite features (and some secrets) at the heart of a nearly two-decade marriage. It’s a peak into their private world – a candid moment shared with fans and music lovers.
“While ‘Change’ felt like a new beginning, ‘Little Things’ is less of an introduction for me and more of a continuation of who I am,” Kevin said in a statement. “My wife and I have been married for 17 years. There are little moments during our time together that trigger my joy and happiness and remind me exactly why I’m still with her. Lyrically, it’s very detailed. It’s kind of sexy and fun with “steaming up the shower” line. You have to keep it spicy, I guess,” he laughs. “The song discusses all her favorite things. When you think about it, the little things make us who we are. She is not an exaggerated person; she is just the perfect person!”
With more music on the horizon, Kevin still keeps it simple. “I’m ready for people to hear more about who I am,” he concludes. “I’m just a guy who’s lucky enough to make music. I’m proud of that and I can’t wait to keep writing more songs.”
In addition to releasing his solo music, Kevin is currently touring as part of the Jonas Brothers throughout South America.
