Pop sensation Alex Warren has announced that his second album Wild child will be released on August 28.
The “Fever Dream” singer has been teasing an announcement on social media for the past few days, and in true Alex style, he released a chaotic video to share his long-awaited news. The clip sees Alex filming a promo to announce the album, but between being covered in paint, being suspended in the air and exploding confetti cannons, it all gets a little too wild.
The final scene shows the album cover and release date, along with the new song ‘Passenger’ due out on Friday. The news was also shared at a number of pop-ups taking place across the world today, including LA and London, where fans in London were also given a sneak peek at the upcoming music video for the song.
Wild child is the second album from Alex Warren and looks set to include ‘Fever Dream’, latest single ‘Fine Place to Die’ and ‘Passenger’. It follows his first debut You’ll be fine, Kidwhich featured the global phenomenon ‘Ordinary’ as well as the smash hits ‘Eternity’, ‘Carry You Home’ and ‘Bloodline’.
Alex is currently on the North American leg Find family along the way tour, following a successful European leg that included two sold-out nights at London’s The O2 Arena.
