The arrival of the hotly anticipated EP lands in the wake of Will’s breakout single ‘Golden’ – a song that wasted no time in making its mark, earning an instant spot on the BBC Radio 2 playlist upon its release. A soaring, soulful anthem that leans into the power of love to calm doubt and quiet inner turmoil, it signaled a turning point for the Kansas-born, London-based artist—one where promise sharpened into presence, and a rising voice steadily entered its own.
While it may still be a new face on the pop landscape, Brown’s rise hasn’t exactly been quiet. Four top ten UK pop club hits are already under his belt, along with steady radio traction across France, Italy and Spain, and a string of sold-out shows that suggest word is spreading fast. There has been a slot machine in the French Euro Village during Eurovision Song Contest 2025a performance of “Better Man” at long-running French institution Taratata, and UK TV appearances that have put him in front of ever-widening audiences – from Channel 4’s Sunday brunch to BBC Sunday Morning Live.
Even radio has been quick to catch on. BBC Radio 2 tapped him as one to watch with their “New to 2” spotlight, while BBC Radio 4 took him to Loose Ends – a fitting platform for an artist who thrives on conversation as much as melody.
