A pai gow poker player at the Aliante in North Las Vegas won nearly $360,000 after drawing a seven-card straight Monday, according to a Boyd Gaming spokesperson.
The player, who chose to remain anonymous, drew the three through the nine of clubs and used the joker as the eight of clubs. In pai gow poker, the joker can be played as an ace or used to complete a straight and/or suit.
The payout of $359,500 consisted of the progressive jackpot of $354,500 and a Fortune Bonus of $5,000.
