Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip has installed a brand new LED guitar-shaped display on its facade.
The digital display replaces the long-standing neon Sunburst Les Paul guitar that had been a landmark since the cafe opened in 2009.
The LED guitar, which is similar to the much larger Tower Hotel Las Vegas being built by Hard Rock International about a mile to the north, is part of a broader renovation that also adds wraparound LED panels along the front and top corners of the building.
A more well-known neon Hard Rock Cafe guitar sign is on display at the Neon Museum, where it was reconstructed by YESCO after nearly two decades adorning the off-Strip Hard Rock hotel-casino.
