Written by and starring Linus Karp and Joseph Martin, The Fit Prince… is a hilarious take on all your favorite Hallmark and holiday movie tropes, delivered in Awkward Productions’ signature queer, interactive, comedic and heartfelt ways.
The Fit Prince… also features original music by Golden Globe-nominated songwriter and producer Leland (Troye Sivan, Charli xcx, RuPaul’s Drag Race) and several digital cameos including Tove Lo, Sebastian Croft, Malte Gårdinger, Joshua Whitehouse, Misia Butler, Jeremy McClain, Kate Butch, Geri Allen and more.
2025 took Awkward Productions The Fit Prince… to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, with creators Linus and Joseph (who are a real couple) getting married on stage. They later performed a celebratory run at the King’s Head Theatre, London where we gave them a glowing five-star review, describing the show as an “outrageous rom-com that ticks all the boxes”.
Awkward Productions kicked off this year in style with a US tour where they delighted audiences with two of their other shows: Gwyneth goes skiing and Diana: The Untold and Untrue Story. Regardless of the subject matter, this duo strives to put on an all-encompassing performance that is the perfect symbol of queer joy.
Now is the time for The Fit Prince… to shine once more. Audiences across the UK can expect star-studded performances, puppetry, audience participation and unforgettable music, all brought together by the unrivaled chemistry of Linus and Joseph.
