The highly anticipated trailer for A24’s new film The drama is here and we have received so many questions.
Directed by Kristoffer Borgli, the film stars Zendaya and Robert Pattinson as Emma and Charlie, a couple about to get married. It is clear to see that they are deeply in love and on the verge of the happiest day of their lives. Nothing too dramatic to see here, right? Wrong! When the pair sit down with their friends for a meal, a typical dinner conversation ensues where the group is asked the question “What’s the worst thing you’ve ever done?”.
As the group share their stories, giggling with glasses of wine in hand, it’s Emma’s turn to share her darkest secret and this is where things take an unfortunate turn. Although the secret itself is not revealed, the aftermath is deeply disturbing. There are rumors floating around on Reddit and other social networks, which we won’t spoil, but if they are to be believed then The drama may have the biggest plot twist of the year.

The official synopsis doesn’t reveal much either: “The drama centers on Emma Harwood (Zendaya), who works at a publishing house, and British museum director Charlie Thompson (Pattinson). The happily engaged couple’s relationship is pushed to the limit after an unexpected revelation in the middle of their wedding week.”
However, Emma’s deep, dark secret seems to change everything, with Charlie unable to think about anything else. Will the couple live happily ever after? We’ll have to wait and see.
It’s safe to say we’re pumped for the film’s release, which will be released on April 3 in the UK and US.
