A popular family card game provides a new gaming experience to a Las Vegas casino this summer.
Mattel Inc. is investing in Las Vegas by debuting the first Uno Social Club ever at Palms. The engrossing, over-the-top experience is designed to get the iconic card game to a real environment, Mattel said in a news message.
The launch of the Uno Social Club marks the beginning of a nationwide campaign to turn relaxed game evenings into full -blown entertainment events.
The Las Vegas launch starts with a competition that will go through June 19. A winner and a guest will be treated for a holiday stay in a “decorated” out, Technicolor Uno theme suite at the palms of July 18-20. The suite, which has UNO’s signature red, blue, green and yellow palette, contains a private bowling alley, Uno decor and a personal game host.
“We created UNO’s social clubs to re-educate which game night can be-united people for real fun, connection and some friendly competition,” said Ray Adler, Vice President and Global Game Manager at Mattel, in a statement. “Uno Social Club in Las Vegas is just the beginning, and we are happy to see how these new experiences inspire players to show up, play hard and make unforgettable memories.”
To participate in the competition, fans must publish a Tiktok video with Mattel’s new Uno Reverse Card filter and hashtags #unosocialclub and #mattelContest. Participants must be 21 years of age or older and residents of the coherent United States and Washington, DC
Inside the Palm suite, guests find a variety of UNO-labeled table games, including Uno Golf, UNO team and the fast Uno show ‘EM No Grace.
Las Vegas-Pop-Up is the first stop for the UNO Social Club concept, according to a news message. Mattel plans to expand to bars and places in larger cities in the United States later this year. Each event will contain unique UNO-theme beverage menus, tournaments and photo options.
