The Room has been announced to Britain’s and Ireland’s tour in “Killing a Mockingbird”

The whole role has been announced to the first British and Ireland tour in “To kill a mockery,”, Aaron SorkinAcclaimed adaptation of the stage adaptation of Harper Lee’s Pulitzer-award-winning novel. Production, directed by Bartlett Shercomes to King’s Theater, Glasgowfrom 4 to 8 November 2025As part of a large national tour that will be launched this fall.

Richard Coyle will re -establish his role as Atticus Finch, following his performance in the West End run of production in 2022. Coyle joins a principal that includes Anna Mund as Scout Finch, Gabriel Scott as Jem Finch and Dylan Malyn as Dill Harris.

Also announced is Andrea Davy as Calpurnia, Stephen Boxer as referee Taylor, Aaron Shosanya as Tom Robinson, Oscar Pearce as Bob Ewell, Evie Hargreaves as Mayella Ewell and Richard Dempsey as Horace Gilmer. Sarah Finigan will be shown as Mrs Dubose, with Phillipa Flynn who plays Miss Stephanie and Dill’s mother. Harry Attwell takes on the roles of Cunningham and Arthur “Boo” Radley, Colin R Campbell plays Sheriff Heck Tate, and Simon Hepworth is shown as a link Dea.

The company is clear by Paul Albertson, James Mitchell, Jonathan Rubin, Cheryl Burniston, Charlotte Luxford, Oyin Orija, Tiwai Muza, Tom Brace -jenkins and John J. O’Hagan.

The Production Opens at Leeds Playhouse on September 8, 2025 and will visit a Total of 19 Venues Across the UK and Ireland Through May 2026. As of Now, The Confirmed Stops Include Nottingham Playhouse, Edinburgh Festival Theatre, TheTeatre Royal Batre Royal Batre Royal Batre. Lowry in Salford, Sheffield Lyceum, Table Gáis Energy Theater in Dublin, Grand Opera House Belfast, Theater Royal Plymouth, Marlowe Theater Cantre Canterbury, Mayflower Theater Southampton, Birmingham Hippodrome, Theatre Royal NewCastle Theater and Milton Keynes Theater.

Sorkin’s adaptation of “Killing a Hound Bird”, which was originally produced on Broadway, premiered 2018 at the Shubert Theater in New York. It continued to get nine Tony Award nominations and won the best performance by an actor in a prominent role. Production was opened in London’s West End 2022 at the Gield Theater, where it completed a successful driving until 2023.

The game is based on Harper Lee’s 1960 novel, which was put in the 1930s depression-era Alabama, and follows the attorney Atticus Finch when he defends Tom Robinson, a black man falsely accused of attacking a white woman. Finch, who encourages kindness and empathy in his children Scout and JEM, is pressed to the boundaries of these characteristics itself under its defense and intends to reveal the truth in a city that seems determined to hide it. The story explores themes of racial injustice, children’s innocence and moral integrity. The novel has sold more than 45 million copies all over the world and was adapted for an Oscar-winning Hollywood movie from 1962.

The creative team behind the production brings together a number of established theater figures. Bartlett Sher, who previously directed “The King and I”, “South Pacific” and “My Fair Lady”, return to Tour. Set Design is by Miriam Buether, with suits by Oscar winner Ann Roth, lighting by Jennifer Tipton and Sound Design by the Tony Award winner Scott Lehrer.

The production also has an original point consisting of Adam Guettel and musical monitoring of Kimberley Grigsby. Louisa Muller joins Association Director, along with Ed Pierce as design manager. Casting is done by Serena Hill CDG, with Campbell Young Associates responsible for hair and wigs. Laurence Belcher serves as a resident director, and Tavia Jefferson is the cultural coordinator of the tour.

The tour is produced by Jonathan Church Theater Productions, in conjunction with Karl Sydow and Tulchin Bartner, and is based on the original Broadway production.

Tickets for Glasgow Run and other arenas are expected to be sold through each theater’s cash office.
