British indie prodigies The Kooks have announced an epic run of outdoor summer gigs for 2026, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of their seminal debut album, ‘Inside In / Inside Out’.
Scheduled to kick off at Delamare Forest in Northwich on June 17, the summer jaunt will see the band play further shows in Scarborough, Halifax and Bristol.
Tickets for all gigs will be available via artist sales at Wednesday, October 29, 2025 on 10:00 amwith advance purchase of the premises Thursday 30 October, 10:00 am.

Originally released in January 2006, The Kooks debut album ‘Inside In / Inside Out’ became a seminal record for the mid-2000s UK indie rock scene. With a mix of catchy guitar riffs, airy melodies and heartfelt lyrics, the album captured the youthful optimism and raw energy of the era.
Sounds like ‘Naive’, “She moves in her own way”and ‘Oh La’ became instant anthems, propelling the band to mainstream success and earning the album multi-platinum status in the UK. Its effortless charm and sing-song quality helped the LP stand out among a crowded field of post-Libertine guitar bands, cementing The Kooks as one of the decade’s most beloved acts.
Nearly two decades later, the record remains a nostalgic touchstone for fans of UK indie, its sound continuing to influence new artists exploring the intersection of pop sensibility and indie authenticity.
News of the band’s upcoming summer concerts follows the release of their seventh studio album, “never/know” and soon after they finished a run of their biggest headline shows ever, which included a sold out show at Corduroypp Co-op Livedescribed by The Guardian as a “triumphant and moving mass chant”, and culminated in a career-defining performance at London’s O2 Arena.
