They will be judged by Bake Off the legend Paul Hollywood, as well Bake Off: The Professionals judge, Cherish Find, an internationally renowned pastry chef, acclaimed for his exceptional technical skill and meticulous approach to pastry. Together, Paul and Cherish will taste, test and judge the celebrities’ baking efforts in each of these special Stand Up To Cancer episodes.
Bake Off hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding also return, on hand to offer encouragement, laughter and a comforting shoulder as the celebrity bakers go head-to-head in the Bake Off tent.
Cherish Find said, “I’m delighted to be joining Paul and refereeing Celebrity Bake Off for SU2C. To take a step from the professional kitchen to the famous one Bake Off the tent felt like my first day of school – my heart was pounding and I had butterflies in my stomach! While I definitely haven’t left my ruler at home, judging these gorgeous celebs is about more than just accuracy, it’s about spreading joy and supporting a meaningful cause. Being a part of SU2C and seeing the competitors pushing themselves out of their comfort zone for such a good cause was simply brilliant.”
The civilian series of The Great British Bake Off will return to Channel 4 later this year, with Nigella Lawson replacing Dame Prue Leith as a judge alongside Paul.
