After months of speculation, Radiohead Has officially confirmed his return to the stage and announced a European residence in five cities that mark their first live performances since 2018. The band will play 20 shows over Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen and Berlin in November and December, four nights in each city.
The announcement arrives after a series of cryptic teasers – including leaflets plastered in European capitals and the formation of a new company, Rheuk25 LLP, earlier this year – rumors for a reunion. In a message to the fans, drummer Philip Selway explained how the return came to:
Last year we met to practice, just for hell. After a seven -year break, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has been put deep inside us all. It also made us play some show together, so we hope you can make it one of the coming dates. For now, there will only be these who know that it will know where there will be everything there.
The tournament schedule contains four nights at London’s O2 Arena, along with several nights in Madrid, Bologna, Copenhagen and Berlin. It marks the group’s first live -show since they closed their A moon -shaped pool Tour in Philadelphia in August 2018.

During the years ago, the members have conducted a number of solo and side projects. Thom Yorke released Anima 2019 and toured with The Smile, his band with Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner. Greenwood composed points for movies including Phantom thread and SpencerWhile Colin Greenwood toured with Nick Cave. Ed O’Brien debuted its solo project EOB with the 2020s Soiland Selway laid out his third album Strange dance 2023.
Tips on a comeback became higher over the past year. Colin Greenwood revealed at a festival in Mexico in September last year that the band had repeated again, while Yorke told Australia’s ABC weeks later that “we have earned the right to do what makes sense to us without having to explain ourselves.” Flyers that promote potential dates in London and Copenhagen will appear this summer, and a charity auction in Los Angeles even included tickets for a “Radiohead concert you choose.”
Although no new studio album has been announced, the band examines its archive. October 31 they release a live album from Hagel to the thief era. Yorke said about hearing these recordings again: “I was shocked by the kind of energy behind the way we played. I barely recognized ourselves and it helped me find a way forward. We decided to get these live recordings mixed and released (it would have been crazy to keep them for ourselves). It has all been a very catartic process. We hope you like them.”
