Noah Cyrus announces the second album “I Want My Loved Ones will go with me”

Noah Cyrus has announced that her much -awaited Sophomore album was released, I want my loved ones to accompany meArrive on July 11 via Records/Columbia Records. Alongside the album, the Grammy-nominated artist also reveals a North American heading tour this fall and started with a special release day performance on Ford in Los Angeles.

On his upcoming 12-track record, Noah Cyrus expands its sonic palette and leans more consciously into the country, folk and Americana influence that has long shaped her songwriting. The album marks a remarkable transition from the genre mixing experiment of her 2022 debut, The most difficult part. Co -produced with reliable, long -term collaborators Mike Crossey and PJ Harding, the album also includes guest performances from icons such as Blake Shelton, Fleet Foxes, Ella Langley and Bill Callahan.

Lyrically, I want my loved ones to accompany me Explores themes of nature, memory, sadness, identity and healing – with family playing a central role throughout the album. On the course “Don’t Put EVERYTHING on me”, Cyrus plays a song written by her brother Braison to a collaboration with Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold. She also returns and revives “With You”, the first song that her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, ever wrote and turned it into a gripping ballad about presence and devotion.

“My dad is one of my biggest influences. He turned me to so many amazing songs and artists. My musical inspirations came somewhere, and more often it has been him.”

Other presented collaborations include “New Country” with Country star Blake Shelton and “Way of the World” with the rising artist Ella Langley, who emphasizes Cyrus’ full embrace of a more traditional country sound, a direction she only suggested in previous release. Despite the range of spectacular voices, the emotional core of the album unequivocally remains her own: intimate, down -to -earth and unfiltered.

Sonically, the disc is anchored in traditional instrumentation – with banjo, pedal steel, dulcimer, mandolin and cello that provides a structured background for cyrus distinct, smoky vocalton. The result is a post that deepens her commitment to stories through a grounded, root -driven lens. Even the title of the album, I want my loved ones to accompany me, feels intentional; More than a lyric! It is a feeling that speaks to inheritance, connection and the journey with self -definition. Whether it is by honoring their roots or navigating the spaces between loneliness and connection, Cyrus goes forward with clarity and invites listeners to join her.
