Get ready to go back to the field – the beloved Wattpad-inspired romance PAGE officially getting a sequel.
After the breakout success of SIDELINE: QB & Mewhich became Tubi’s number one in both the US and Canada upon its 2024 premiere, SIDE 2: INTERCEPTED will delve even deeper into the emotional highs and heartbreaks of its young leads.
Based on Tay Marley’s Wattpad hit QB Bad Boy and me — which has been collected over 31 million reads — the sequel follows the star freshman quarterback Drayton (Noah Beck) as he faces increasing pressure after a major setback. Meanwhile dancers Dallas (Siena Aggudong) begins to question the future she once thought she had figured out. As distance and self-discovery test their relationship, both Drayton and Dallas must learn that sometimes the bravest thing you can do is to let life—and love—take a new direction.
Joining the returning cast are Charlie Gillespie (Julie and the Phantoms), Wise Linder (Descendants 3), and Roan Curtis (Firefly Lane). Fans will also see familiar faces, with James Van Der Beek (Pose) and Drew Ray Tanner (Riverdale) who reprise their roles from the first film.
The sequel will once again be directed by Justin Wuand produced by Thunderbird Entertainment’s Great Pacific Media, Marshall Artsand WEBTOON Productions. The film’s writing comes from Crystal Ferreirowith an impressive list of producers that include McKenna Marshall, Adam Wescott, Maxwell Mitcheson, Lindsay Macadam, Jason Fischerand WEBTOON Productions David Madden and Jason Goldbergnext President Aaron Levitz.
Executive producers include James Huntsman, Lisa Gutberlet and Kalani Dreimanis for Blue Fox Entertainment, and David Way, Tony Chung and Lori Massini for Great Pacific Media — as well Noah Beck, Siena Aggudong, Crystal Ferreiroand Justin Wu themselves.
