NBA Best bets today: Top Sports Betting Picks, Predictions March 24, 2024

After a jam-filled for a few days in March Madness awesomeness, we get a short break from the college game until Sweet 16, start Thursday and roll into Elite eight over the weekend. In the meantime, we will focus again on today’s best NBA bets.

The regular season is almost over, so anyone who wants to do one last playoffs must do it now.

Minnesota Timberwolves (+105) against Indiana Pacers (-1.5)

Pacers just finished an eight-match Minnesota victory a week ago in Minneapolis with a victory of 132-130 overtime. Timberwolves dropped his next to New Orleans but then bounced back with a 41-point victory over the same Pelicans.

Indiana has won his last three since he beat T-Wolves homes win against Mavericks and a couple against Nets. But their biggest victory margin in the last four matches was only six points. So one or two gigs had gone differently … Yes, you know.

Our choice: Pacers -1.5

Anthony Edwards is a decision on playing time with a cut on his right thumb. I can see where he plays because it is not so serious, or he sits because the T-wolves do not want to risk losing his star for more than one game.

Pacers have already shown that they can handle the T-wolves with Edwards in the lineup. If he is excluded, the line will move a few points. Take Indiana -1.5 before it happens. If Edwards plays, I still like Indiana -1.5.

Pascal Siakam, over 20.5 points on -125
Siakam didn’t play a week ago when Pacers beat Minnesota in Minneapolis, but he has received 25 plus in five of his last six matches. I expect him to do the same tonight against Timberwolves.

Los Angeles Lakers (-4) against Orlando Magic (+145)

The struggle has been today’s word for both franchise lately, with Lakers who lost six of its last nine and the magical eight of their last 12. Lakers saw LeBron James return to the lineup in the loss Saturday to the bulls.

But rather than giving a spark he got 17 and the Lakers went down by 31 points.

Orlando comes from a victory. But there is only a 15-point victory over the Washington Wizards-one of the worst teams in the league (if not the worst). But they beat the Lakers when they last played in November 119-118.

Our choice: Magic +4

How do you choose a game between two good teams happening with both playing badly right now? James is likely to have a better game after turning off rust versus the nets. However, the Lakers have not played well on the road and gone 15-18.

I still expect the Lakers to win, but considering how they play on the road, I take the magic and the point.

Dallas Mavericks (-1) against Brooklyn Nets (-110)

None of the teams have played good basketball too late. Brooklyn has lost 13 of its last 15, while Mavericks has won only three of his last 14. But Mavericks comes from a 123-117 home victory versus the piston.

Brooklyn has lost its last three, including a couple of games versus pacers in Indianapolis. But last time Nets played at home (March 16 against Atlanta Hawks) they won, 122-114. D’Angelo Russell and Ziaire Williams are listed as doubtful for the game.

Our choice: Mavericks -1

None of the law has done anything to inspire confidence too late, but I have more faith in Dallas to draw a victory over this terrible Nets team.
