Melanie C embraces uncertainty head on. The The Spice Girls icon has released a new solo single, “What could go wrong?”a sharp, self-aware track that leans towards risk, resilience and the thrill of stepping into the unknown.
Built on driving beats and an elegant pop-electronic backbone, the song finds Mel C in familiar but refreshed territory – confident, reflective and unafraid to poke fun at the chaos that comes with chasing instinct over certainty. Lyrically, the track balances irony with empowerment, framing vulnerability not as a weakness, but as a necessary step forward.
Speaking of the new track “Never be the same again” the singer reveals, ““What could go wrong?” is the second single from my upcoming album, written and recorded in Stockholm with the brilliant Class Åhlund and Nah gives this track the distinctive Swedish sound. We had a lot of fun working on this song and discussing the light and shadow of music and life. It’s a sense of taking risks and trusting that you’ll take that leap anyway. I think a lot of people will relate!”
