Mark Ronson and Raye release surprise song ‘Suzanne’

In a surprising feature that feels both spontaneous and too long, Mark Ronson and Raye Has come together to release ‘Suzanne’-a sultry, soul-controlled tracks lace with warm horns, cinematic style and emotional depth.

The song dropped without previous teasers, the song by two artists who share a deep reverence for timeless sound and rich story. What started as mutual admiration has culminated in a collaboration year during creation, shaped by late evening sessions over continents and a creative chemistry that is now developing with simple grace.

Written by Mark Ronson, Raye, Tommy Brenneck and Eric Hagstrom, and co -produced by Ronson and Brenneck, ‘Suzanne’ pulses with an evening club heating, its horn arrangements that echo smoky lounges and late evening creations. It is classic and modern at once, which is held together by the musical fingerprints from two artists known to reinvent nostalgia on their own terms.

The track is more than just a meeting with musical senses-it is a full circle moment that is rooted in Serendipity and shared history. Ronson, for a long time an admirer of Raye’s development behind the scenes songwriter to the award -winning solo artist, expressed how the collaboration felt fate. “When Audemars Piguet brought us through their Apxmusic program, it felt like the stars were adapting to exactly the right moment,” he said, referring to the iconic Swiss guard’s initiative celebrating his 150th anniversary this year -and served as the unexpected spark behind the song.

Raye, who reflected on the trip, revealed an emotional connection to the track’s title from the beginning. “Within minutes after I created the music brand, I just created that it must be called ‘Suzanne’,” she shared. The title, as it turns out, also celebrates Suzanne Audemars, one of the founding figures behind Audemars Piguet and adds another layer of meaning to the already intimate track.

Their creative process, according to both artists, was far from transactional. The Marathon Sessions involved in London, New York and Los Angeles – late nights filled with experiments and an undeniable musical chemistry. “The music we have created together has both our musical DNA but takes us somewhere that none of us would have reached alone,” Ronson noted.

For Raye, the experience has a personal gripping. Many years ago she attached her songwriting skills in Mark Ronsons London -Studio and never imagined that one day she would return as a partner. “Everything about how this song came, and this moment with land and AP, feels intended to be,” she said. “… and the joy I feel in my legs when I play this song in my headphones, the overwhelming consensus of emotions is gratitude and pride,” she adds.

‘Suzanne’ is now available to stream – a surprise case and proof of timing, talent and the beautiful chaos of creative collisions.
