Seattle Mariner’s placed Outfielder Victor Robles on the 10-day injured list Monday, one day after he was hit by a moved left shoulder that ran into the field wall.
Mariner’s recalled excursor Dominic Canzone from Triple-A Tacoma to take Robles’s seat on the guard list.
Robles played the right field for Seattle in the series finale in San Francisco Giants and made a jumping catch of a long ball that was hit by Patrick Bailey who had barely become foul at the bottom of the ninth. His glove hand was still extended, Robles’s elbow seemed to contact a padded wall and he also had to tangled in the net. Robles was borne from the field.
The 27 -year -old joined the sailors after abandoning Washington Nationals during the 2024 season. Robles was the Seatles Leadoff batter in the first ten matches this season, and he beat .273 with three doubles, three RBIs, three runs and three stolen bases.
Robles has beaten .248 in his 617 playing career with Washington (2017-24) and Seattle, recording 35 Homers, 185 RBI, 257 runs and 103 stolen bases.
Canzone, 27, started the season at Triple-A after he beat. 196 with eight homers and 17 RBI in 67 games in 2024, his second big league season. He is a career .208 Hitter with 14 Homers and 38 RBI in 126 Major League games.
