Multi-platinum artist Loreen has released her transcendent new single ‘Feels Like Heaven’, taken from her upcoming album Wildfire.
Co-written and produced by Sia and Jesse Shatkin, with additional production from Myles Avery, “Feels Like Heaven” is an emotionally charged release that signals the beginning of a bold new chapter for Loreen.
Built on a slow intensity that erupts into catharsis, the song captures the moment where struggle gives way to surrender where pain softens and love is finally let in. ‘Feels Like Heaven’ is emotionally moving as you can really feel Loreen letting go, while encouraging the listener to do the same.
Speaking about the track, Loreen explains: “When talking about heaven here, it’s not a place or a belief system. It’s an inner state. Like hell, it’s in the mind and experienced in the moment. ‘Feels Like Heaven’ is about surrender. Because when you surrender, you create freedom. And freedom is love and love.
“From that sense of security comes empathy, clarity and deeper understanding of our lives and others. Our well-being is shaped by the state of our inner world. We suffer when we resist and we heal when we surrender. Ultimately, heaven and hell are not destinations, we create them here, by how we feel and love.”
‘Feels Like Heaven’ is a glimpse of Loreen’s newly announced album Wildfire, will be released on March 27. The album, which was teased via screenings that appeared in London, Paris and Berlin earlier this week, will also feature previously released hits ‘Is It Love’ and ‘Tattoo’. The album is available for pre-order now on digital platforms as well as in several physical formats.

Nine years after her last album and fourteen years since her debut, her work has garnered billions of streams worldwide, establishing Loreen as one of modern pop’s most spiritually resonant and emotionally fearless voices.
Alongside her solo work, Loreen has continued to expand her artistry through SAGES, a band she formed with Icelandic composer and producer Ólafur Arnalds.
