Hunter Dickinson breaks out for 32 points to drive Kansas past Colorado

Hunter Dickinson had a seasonal high 32 points and pulled down 13 returns, KJ Adams Jr. Scored 15 points, and Kansas beat Colorado 71-64 in Boulder, Colo., On Monday evening for Jayhawks second straight Big 12 conference win.

Rylan Griffen contributed 10 points for Kansas (19-9, 10-7 Big 12), who entered the game that was not ranked for the first time in 80 weeks and stopped a four-game skid.

Dickinson averaged 25.5 points and 11 returns in two wins over Colorado this season.

Bangot Dak had 16 points and Julian Hammond III scored all 11 points during the second half for Buffaloes (11-17, 2-15), which had an 18-5 edge in offensive recovery.

The Jayhawks opened the second half by missing their first three shots and five out of six free throw, which allowed Colorado to erase a five-point half-time deficit and take a lead of 39-38 for its first at night.

After Kansas jumped back in front with five straight points, and after a Javon Ruffin 3 pointer to bring Colorado back even at 46-46, the Jayhawks rolled away five straight points to regain the advantage.
