Faye Tozer to return as host for UK Theater Awards 2025

After debuting as worth 2024, musical theater star and Step icon Faye tozeR will once again present the UK Theater Awards.

Supported by heading sponsor EncoreThis year’s ceremony will take place on Sunday, October 12 at 8 Northumberland Avenue, and will once again celebrate the very best theater throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Awards are given for creative excellence and outstanding work both on and off the stage, including the coveted Britain’s most welcoming theater award and the outstanding contribution to the British Theater Accolade.

The full list of nominations will be revealed on Thursday, September 18, with the UK’s most welcoming theater prize finalists – Birmingham Rep, Royal & Derngate and Shakespeare North Playhouse – already announced.

Although it is best known as a member of the Brit Award-winning pop band? 101 Dalmatians, 42nd Street, Singin ‘? In the rain everyone talks about Jamie, in the limelight, over the rainbow, me and my girl, Love Shack, Saucy Jack and Space Vixens and Tell on a Sunday.

Most recently she seemed like Miss Kitty Leroy in Dita von Teeses Diamonds and dust At Emerald Theater in London.

Away from the stage, Tozer and her fellow bandmates Claire RichardsThe Lee Latchford-EvansThe Lisa Scott-Lee and Ian ‘H’ WatkinsRecently launched Here & now – a brand new musical based on the songs from Step.

Directed by the award -winning Rachel Kavanaugh (Half A Sixpence, The Great British Bake Off Musical) and written by Shaun Kitchener (Hollyoaks), the show contains many of the groups iconic hits, including 5, 6, 7, 8The StompThe Better best forgottenand Last I think about.

Currently playing at Manchester Opera House, production will tour in the UK until May 2026. Tickets for all shows are for sale here.
