TV’s biggest night returned to Los Angeles on Sunday as 77th Emmy Awards Crowned a new slate of winners, surprises and disc switches. From long -awaited first victories to historical performances, the evening celebrated the best on TV with glitter, glamor and some groundbreaking moments.
Apple TV+’s The studio emerged as the night’s prominent and put a new Emmy record for a comedy series with 13 wins over the main ceremony and last week’s Creative Arts Emmys. HBO Max’s Pitten claimed the sought -after best drama award, with his star Noah Wyle who finally secured his first Emmy – more than two decades after his latest nomination. In the meantime, Departure weight gathered eight trophies from their 27 nominations, while Netflix’s Youth Delivered a historical victory when 15-year-old Owen Cooper became the youngest male artist who ever took home an actor Emmy.
