The BBC has officially revealed The Claudia Winkleman Showa brand new chat show with one of British TV’s best-loved presenters, launching on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in spring 2026.
Claudia Winkleman, best known for her warm, witty presentation Strictly Come Dancing and hosted by The traitorswill take center stage in his own weekly talk series. Over seven 50-minute episodes, Winkleman will welcome one “sofa full of stars” for lively conversations with celebrity guests from film, TV, music and more – all in front of a live studio audience.
Claudia’s Big Leap into Chat Show Territory
After more than a decade of hosting Strictly alongside Tess DalyWinkleman stepped back from the dance show at the end of 2025, and is now swinging to headline her own prime-time entertainment series, cementing her status as one of the BBC’s flagship personalities.
In her typically self-deprecating style, Claudia said of the news: “I can’t quite believe it and I’m extremely grateful to the BBC for this amazing opportunity. I’m obviously going to be terrible, it goes without saying, but I’m over the moon that they’re letting me try.”
