When it comes to collaborating with the biggest artists, Fortnite is it Hot To Go! It has been announced that global superstar Chappell Roan will be joining the Fortnite Festival as the game’s next icon this week.
A longtime fan of Fortnite, Chappell follows in the footsteps of Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande in joining the franchise. She will become the game’s next icon when Season 13 kicks off on February 5th.
Not only will she headline the Fortnite Season 13 in-game event, but players will be able to purchase and unlock Chappell Roan-inspired skins. These include Roan of Arc, inspired by her 2024 VMA performance.
There will also be new accessories including the Pink Pony Star Back Bling, Midwest Princess Keytar, Subway Serenader Mic and Drumset Supernova.
Fans will also be able to purchase “Pink Pony Club” and “Femininomenon” emotes in the Fortnite store, while the Main Stage design will have a medieval castle look, inspired by Chappell’s Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things.
If that wasn’t enough, some of Chappell’s biggest hits including ‘Hot To Go!’, ‘Pink Pony Club’ and ‘The Giver’ have been added to the festival’s music library.
Chappell’s collaboration with Fortnite comes a year after she made a public plea on Radio 1 with Jack Saunders, asking developers to “Please give me a skin, please”. Now her wish (and more) has come true.
