Now in its most exciting edition yet, the awards continue to amplify the voices of global audiences, celebrating the talent they love most in music, film, television, digital media and more.
This year’s nominees represent one of the most diverse and dynamic lineups to date, featuring both established icons and prominent rising stars. From groundbreaking musicians and game-changing actors to record-breaking fandoms and viral digital creators, the finalists reflect a year of extraordinary creativity, connection and cultural impact.
British boy band Absent mind, IT girl JADE and global music sensation Omar Rudberg lead the pack with an impressive five nominations each, while pop powers Lily Allen, The K’s, Louis Tomlinsonand Louise also get multiple nods across key categories. Other major contenders in the music awards race this year include Perry, Rizzle Kicks, Lady Gaga, Leigh-Anne, Tom Grennan and Five.
Rising stars After drive, dear ALICE, Find Forster, Rose Grey, KATSEYE, Skye Newman, Pedro Santos, Sienna Spiro, Shadow and XO are all nominated in Breakout artist category, while say now, YOUNG BLOOD, Remember Monday, Olivia Dean and The Jonas Brothers join Absent mind, Omar Rudberg, JADE, Louise and The K’s to fight to be crowned Artist of the year.
In the categories for theatre, film, TV and entertainment, nominees include the West End roles in Jamie Lloyd’s Avoid, The summer I became beautiful, Big Brother, Clara Amfoand Bitter Bitteras well as podcasts The Final Frontia with Tia Kofi, Unlikely friends, Help I Sexted By Bossand Call To Stage with Amber Davies.
Voting for the 2025 ThePlayerLounge Awards opens Friday, November 21 on 10.00 am and remains alive until Friday, December 12 on 10.00 am. Fans worldwide can cast their votes by visiting the official ThePlayerLounge Awards hub at ThePlayerLounge.com. The winners will be notified Sunday, December 14with special features and exclusive coverage to follow on ThePlayerLounge platforms.
