The Burlesque Musical is embarking on a UK tour this year, which includes a return London appearance at the new Arts at the Marble Arch Theatre.
The tour kicks off in Woking on July 25, with further stops including Sunderland, Stoke-on-Trent, Cardiff, Glasgow, Bradford, Southend-on-Sea, Birmingham, Sheffield, High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Liverpool, Leeds, Hull and Wimbledon until May 2027.
In addition, the musical will be performed at the new Arts at the Marble Arch Theater from September 12, 2026 – January 31, 2027. The 550-seat venue will be a new semi-permanent theater located at Marble Arch, while the current Arts Theater is closed for major works.
This austerity at the temporary premises marks The Burlesque Musicalreturns to London after a limited run at the Savoy Theater last year. The tour itself comes after two runs in Manchester and a season in Glasgow.
The original runs of Burlesque starring breakthrough West End star Jess Folley as Ali, with Todrick Hall directing, choreographing AND starring in the show. Cast and creatives for the tour and the new London run will be announced in due course.
Based on the film starring Christina Aguilera and Cher, The Burlesque Musical tells the story of Ali, a small-town girl with big dreams who, while searching for her birth mother, immerses herself in the nightclub scene and truly finds her voice. The musical features songs by Christina, Sia, Diane Warren, Jess and Todrick.
