Ahead of its March 20 release, BTS have announced the tracklist for their highly anticipated fifth full-length album ARIRANG.
Drawing from “Arirang”, a traditional Korean folk song, BTS’ ARIRANG symbolically reflects the group’s roots and feelings the band felt in 2026. The album stands as a powerful culmination of their journey thus far, channeling their experiences and thoughts into 14 tracks that reveal BTS exactly as they are today.
It has also been revealed that the lead single will be track 7 ‘SWIM’, which is centered on one’s determination to keep moving forward despite life’s turbulent waves. Rather than resisting the current, the song frames the choice to move forward at one’s own pace as an expression of love for life itself. With RM leading the songwriting, his lyrical depth adds further authenticity to the track.

Each member of BTS has steered the creative direction of this album, with their hands-on approach ensuring that their personal touch is evident in every track. RM is credited on every song excluding the interlude, while SUGA and j-hope contributed to several songs, including “Body to Body,” “Merry Go Round,” and “NORMAL.” Jimin participated in “They Don’t Know About Us” and “Into the Sun,” while V contributed to “2.0” and “Into the Sun. Jung Kook also played a key role in the creation of four tracks, including ‘Hooligan’.
BTS also worked with a star-studded lineup of world-renowned producers and songwriters on this album, including Ryan Tedder, Diplo, Mike WiLL Made-It, Flume, El Guincho, JPEGMAFIA and more.
The group’s comeback comes alongside their first live performance in nearly four years, which will be streamed globally on Netflix. BTS COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG will take place at Seoul’s iconic Gwanghwamun Square on March 21st and comes ahead of their global world tour starting in April.
ARIRANG will be released on March 20.
