Global K-Pop sensations BTS are officially back! After taking time out for mandatory military service, the group have confirmed details of a new album and world tour.
Consisting of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook, BTS has revealed that their fifth full-length album will be released on March 20. If that wasn’t exciting enough, the band will be embarking on a world tour in support of the album.
The upcoming album reflects the culmination of BTS’ journey so far and defines the group on their own terms. The members devoted themselves to the album’s creation during the second half of 2025. The album consists of a total of 14 tracks and is fueled by each member’s honest introspection as they collectively shaped its direction by weaving their individual perspectives into the music.
Dates and locations for the accompanying world tour will be announced on January 14 at midnight KST. This marks their first large-scale tour in about four years since ‘BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE’, which concluded in Las Vegas in April 2022. The tour is expected to be a defining cultural moment, celebrating a reunion that will be etched into pop culture history.
In true BTS style, before the announcement, the band sent heartfelt, handwritten letters to their ARMY (BTS’s official fandom) all over the world. Written by each member and delivered directly to fans’ homes, the letters expressed gratitude to those who have stood by the band over the years. The band also raised more excitement for their return by restoring their official account on New Year’s Day.
The group has already reached gigantic heights, including becoming the fastest group since the Beatles to chart four US number one albums in less than two years, Grammy nominations, number one singles and albums, and sold out performances worldwide. There’s no doubt that BTS’ return is highly anticipated and looks set to be a defining moment in pop culture.
