Blueprint Gaming seals Game of Thrones deal for IP slots

Take on dragons and fight for the throne in upcoming IP-led castle titles from Blueprint game as part of a license agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences (WBDGE) for the Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon series.

The British game studiopart of Germany Merkur Groupwill develop online slot titles based on iconic entertainment IPs, starting with an upcoming Game of Thrones game in March, with additional titles to follow.

Blueprint Gaming’s roadmap for WBDGE titles will use iconic characters, moments, themes and the soundtrack from both the Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon TV shows.

“Game of Thrones is one of the most significant entertainment brands in the world, and working with an IP of this scale comes with a clear responsibility,” commented Charlie Jacketproduct manager at Blueprint Gaming.

“Our focus has been to create a game that stays true to the series’ depth and identity, while delivering the engaging gameplay and mechanics that operators expect from Blueprint.”

Blueprint Gaming’s first Game of Thrones title will use the base game modifier fundraising mechanism, while the free spins round will see players travel across Westeros in search of big wins.

The provider has a solid track record of developing titles with strong IPs, including most recently with the iconic The Goonies and Yogi Bear franchises.

These IPs are part of a Blueprint Gaming portfolio of over 500 games, available in the regulated markets of the UK, Alderney, Malta, Gibraltar, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Spain, Romania and Canada.
