British pop stalwarts Blue once again proving their talent for creating timeless, feel-good hits with the release of their latest single, “Beautiful Spiritual”.
Lifted from the quartet’s upcoming seventh studio album, “Reflections” – set for release on 9 January 2026 – the upbeat track follows their recent singles “One Last Time” and “Wasting My Time”. It was written by the band’s youngest member, Lee Ryannext Jarrad Rogers (Charli XCX) and long-standing partner Paul Visserwith production managed by GoldCrush & Rogers.

“Beautiful Spiritual” mixes classic and contemporary influences, combines elegant, modern pop production with a funky, Danish style reminiscent of George Michaelall without losing the unmistakable R&B warmth that defines Blue. Beneath its love song exterior lies a thoughtful twist, as the updated verses delve into a relationship transformed by time.
Commenting on the song, Lee says, “I wrote this track 22 years ago after doing my first solo album. I came in with Jarrad Rogers and literally wrote an entire album in three weeks. “Beautiful Spiritual” was one of those songs! It really goes to show that sometimes songs have their own divine timing in this crazy world of music. Two decades later and this song finally made it to the front of the queue, I never gave up hope that one day this song would get its moment. I think that’s a life lesson there, sometimes a little patience and persistence goes a long, long way.”
