Blackpink releases the hard style in new single ‘Jump’

Blackpink Have officially hit the ground running and they do not slow down. Today (July 11) the global K-Pop-Juggernuts returned with “JUMP,” A high -octane digital single that ends the group’s almost three -year interruption and launches its massive World Tour in style.

First, with a live performance at Tours kickoff show in Goyang, South Korea on July 5, “Jump” is a vibrant genre-bender who sees the quartet-Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa-Dykting head in hard-style. The course marks a significant sonical change for Blackpink, which departs from its polished pop roots in favor of a club-clear rave-hymne designed to dominate both dance floors and charts.

Caught by an international power plant by Hitmaker-Teddy, Diplo, Zikai, Claudia Valentina, Jumpa, Malachiii, Jesse Bluu and 24-and produced by Diplo, 24, Boaz van de Beatz, Zecca and APE drums, “Jump” is a full-three adrenaline rush. It opens with a cinematic guitar riff that develops a Western suspension before exploding to a feverish mix of EDM, Synth-pop and Techno Beats. The result is as bold as it is addictive, with every member trade verse that plays for their unique forces, from Jennie’s bite to Rosé’s smoky urgent, Lisa’s rapid fire delivery and Jisoo’s atmospheric border.

The music video, which is already trends on Youtube with almost 17 million views, 2.6 million likes and climbing within hours after release, the intensity shows. Directed by Grammy-winning visionary Dave Meyers, MV delivers a barrier of stylized images: mirrored mazes, underground tunnels, neon-light street scenes and takkatwalks, all wrapped in Blackpink’s signature mixture of luxury and rebellion. Each frame captures its transformation that looks hard, unmatched and unpologetically stylish.

Lyrically, “Jump” delivers the group’s classic brand of trust and resistance, lacing with lines like “I’m not so easy to tame / you should see me under these lamps,” and “You know that we on a mission / all gas, no brakes.” It is a war root dressed in sequins and synths and requires listeners to rise, dance and, quite literally, jump.

This comeback also signals a new chapter in Blackpink’s course, a format of growth and independence. Since the release of their 2022-top album “Born Pink” and 2023-game-exclusive single “The Girls”, members have focused on solo jobs: Jennie’s actor debut in IdolRosé’s solo music project, LISA’s record-breaking international performances and Jisoo’s investments in spectacle and fashion. “Jump” now reunites them in top form and reminds the industry – and the world – why Blackpink continues to set the standard.

Their Deadline World Tour is ready to match the track’s energy, with 31 exhibitions over 16 cities, including the double capital date in Los Angeles, New York, Paris and London. After their burning South Korea opener, the group leads to Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles this weekend and promises the type of scale and spectacle that only Blackpink can deliver.

With “Jump”, Blackpink is not just back, they break out. This is a group that knows how to keep attention, raise efforts and restore expectations. The message is clear: You can’t cage them, you can’t copy them – you can only follow their leadership.

“Jump” is now available to stream on all major platforms!
