BLACKPINK Confirm Five-track Mini Album ‘Deadline’, feat. “Hoppa”

BLACK ROSE has shared an important new detail about his upcoming return. The group’s next mini-album, Deadlinewill contain five trackswith his 2025 single “Jump” officially included in the protocol. Although the album’s title and release date were previously announced, this update provides the clearest picture yet of what fans can expect musically from the long-awaited comeback.

Will arrive on February 27, Deadline marks BLACKPINK’s first group project since 2022 Born pink. The mini-album reunites Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa after years of each member pursuing solo albums, acting roles, and major fashion partnerships, making this release an important moment in the group’s post-contract renewal era.

While the full tracklist has not been revealed, the inclusion of “Jump” gives a clear indication of the album’s direction. Released in July 2025, the song marked BLACKPINK’s first new group song in nearly two years and debuted at number 1 on Billboard’s Global 200 and Global Excl. American lists. Its performance confirmed the group’s global appeal and set the tone for their ongoing comeback Deadline World tour.

Deadline will be BLACKPINK’s third mini-album, which follows Square Up during 2018 and Kill this love in 2019. The album takes its name from the group’s current world tour, which began in Seoul at Goyang Stadium and ends on January 26 after final shows in Tokyo and Hong Kong. The tour has already delivered historic moments, including BLACKPINK becoming the first K-pop girl group to headline London’s Wembley Stadium.

The comeback has extra significance after a period of individual growth. Rosé released her solo album Rosie In 2024, Lisa followed Alter ego and expanded to act with HBO’s The white lotusJennie debuted with her solo project Rubyand Jisoo released her EP Damping while continuing her acting career. Despite these parallel paths, BLACKPINK renewed their contract with YG Entertainment in 2023, confirming BLACKPINK as an active, long-term project.

With five tracks confirmed and “Jump” leading the way, Deadline signaling a focused return that reconnects the group’s collective identity with the massive scale they now command.
