The Betboom team was the lone side to swipe a series on Thursday when the playoffs started at Fissure Universe: Episode 4 event.
In the upper console the quarter finals, Betboom rolled to a 2-0 victory over Team Spirit, while the other three matches ended with 2-1 points: Team Tidebound over Parivision, Team Falcons over Tundra-Ports and Gaimin Gladiators over Team Liquid.
The $ 500,000 Dota 2 tournament began with a group step that used a modified Swiss system for 16 teams. All matches were the best of three. The eight best teams advanced to the playoffs and the remaining teams were eliminated.

Russia’s Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak registered an 8.0/4.0/11.7 KDA relationship for Team Falcons. Bulgaria’s Bozhidar “BZM” Bozdanov noted 11.0/3.0/9.3 KDA relationship for Tundra Sports.
After Team Liquid recorded a 30-minute victory on Green, Gaimin Gladiators replied with two wins on red, in 41 minutes and 37 minutes.
Kazakhstans Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov shines for Gaimin Gladiators at 7.0/1.7/7.7. Poland’s Michal “Nisha” Jankowski collected an 8/4/9 KDA relationship for Team Liquid.
