Big Scott! Back to the future The Musical Will be on its way out on its first British tour next year and will open in Bristol in October 2026.
Initial tour dates also include stops at Edinburgh, Liverpool, Milton Keynes, Sunderland and Southampton, with further dates to follow. Tickets for the first six dates are sold on Wednesday.

Based on the movie 1985, the production Marty McFly follows when he returns to 1955 in a time machine built by Doc Brown, where he must ensure that his parents fall in love to preserve his own existence. Written by Bob Gale, the stage adaptation has new music and lyrics by Emmy and Grammy Award winner Alan Silvestri and six times Grammy winner Glen Ballard, along with classics from the movie as ‘The Power of Love’ and ‘Johnny B Gooe.’
Lead producer Colin Ingram, who works with Back to the future Creators Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale said: “I am so happy that Delorean will travel 88 km / h to all the main theater cities in the UK so that we can bring this cordial spectacle of a show to those who have not seen it in the West End or want to see it again. Big Skotta! Way.”
The musical continues its West End at the Adelphi Theater, where it enters its fifth year, after broken Box Office records and entertaining more than two million people since the premiere 2021.
The show is directed by the Tony Award winner John Rando, with set and costume design by Tim Hatley, choreography by Chris Bailey, Illusions by Chris Fisher, Lighting Design by Tim Lutkin and Hugh Vanstone, Sound by Gareth Owen and Video design by Finn Ross. Music surveillance and events are done by Nick Finlow, with orchestrations by Ethan Popp and Bryan Crook, dance event by David Chase and Casting by David Grindrod for Grindrod Burton casting.
