Ariana Grande Drops of Ghosting “Twilight Zone” Music Video

On Friday, the Grammy winning singer and Evil Star revealed the long-awaited music video for “Twilight Zone”, a haunting poetic track from the Deluxe edition of her 2024 album Eternal sunshine. The visual, released with an A Cappella version of the song is not a typical music video – but a cinematic excerpt drawn directly from Grande’s Lighter days ahead short film. The clip acts as a spiritual prequel to her can release, “supernatural”, continues the engrossing and eerie story that quickly becomes one of her most artistic ambitious eras yet.

The video opens in silence with a twist by Déjà VU: an older version of Ariana Grande, introduced in the short film, looks at pictures of her younger self -awakening in a rank bedroom. “Did I dream the whole thing? Was I just a nightmare?” She sings in a dull, melancholy tone as she navigates in the watercourse ruins of her home. When she goes down into a flooded living space, illuminated in essential blue tones and haunting reflections, the boundaries between memory, dream and reality screen – echoes the emotional disorder described in the song.

While some fans were hoping for a full -length music video at full length, the release is still celebrated for their atmospheric power and symbolic weight. Ariana Grande actually questions the reality in a previous relationship, which would generally be believed to refer to her divorce from the real estate agent Dalton Gomez. “Why do I still protect you? Pretend that these songs aren’t about you?” She asks in the second verse, her voice floats over a fraudulent windy pace. It is heart -controlling, honest and unequivocally personal.

And faithful to the title, “Twilight Zone” draws inspiration from the classic sci-fi series of the same name-a long-lasting favorite at Grande’s. Now, years later, she puts herself directly into the metaphor and wanders through the wreck of a love that she can hardly believe was real.

Despite her ongoing commitments to the dazzling world of Wicked, this latest edition signals that Grande is not completely finished with eternal sunshine yet. And fans are not either. The Deluxe edition and its visuals have reminded the listeners that behind tinsel and theatrics, she remains one of POP’s most emotionally nuanced storytellers.
