Chart-setter Alex Warren is the latest artist to be confirmed to perform at this year’s BRIT Awards.
Alex is undoubtedly one of last year’s breakout stars following the global success of his hit single ‘Ordinary’. The BRIT-certified 2x platinum song went to number one on the UK Singles Chart, becoming the longest-running UK number 1 by an American artist this decade. It was also the most played record on UK radio in 2025.
Alex released his debut album You’ll be fine, Kid in July, which reached No. 1 in the UK Albums Chart and went on to have six Top 40 singles. It was also the number seven most streamed album globally on Spotify for 2025. It also earned Alex his first Grammy nomination for Best New Artist at the 2026 Awards.
As well as performing on the night, Alex will be looking to pick up his first ever BRIT award as ‘Ordinary’ is nominated for International Song of the Year.
Alex said: “The UK is where ‘Ordinary’ first broke and changed my life last year. I’m so grateful for all the love from my fans there, and I can’t wait to bring a big show to the BRITs stage for the very first time.”
Alex joins a star-studded line-up of performers, which also includes Olivia Dean, Harry Styles, Wolf Alice, Mark Ronson and ROSALΓA. EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, the singing voices of K-Pop Demon Hunters group HUNTR/X, will also record a special pre-filmed performance for invited fans.
Debuting at their new Manchester home, Co-op Live, on Saturday February 28, the BRIT Awards will be broadcast live exclusively on ITV and ITVX. Award-winning comedian and writer Jack Whitehall returns to host the show, and the winners in each category will each take home the iconic BRITs trophy, this year conceptualized and designed by internationally acclaimed and Manchester-born designer Matthew Williamson, inspired by his roots in the city.
Olivia Dean and Lola Young lead the pack for this year’s nominations, with five big nods each. Sam Fender is up for four awards, while the likes of Lily Allen, Calvin Harris, JADE, Wolf Alice, Ed Sheeran, Little Simz, PinkPantheress, RAYE, Skye Newman, Wet Leg have also received recognition.
The BRIT Awards 2026 with Mastercard will take place on Saturday 28 February from Manchester’s Co-op Live.
