Harrison Misva made all three of his field-goal attempts and led Birmingham Stallions to a victory 21-12 over Michigan Panthers on Friday in Detroit.
The stallions (1-1) held a lead 18-0 early in the fourth quarter before the Panthers (1-1) returned in the match on a 9-Yard Touchdown pass from Bryce Perkins to Marcus Simms that was followed by a three-point conversion house by Perkins.
Misvis’s third field goals, a 31-yarder, gave Birmingham a 21-9 lead with 1:56 to play. Michigan was able to handle only one field goal at the last minute while he came to card.
Deon Cain led the stallions with four receptions of 84 meters and a touchdown. Ricky person JR ran 17 times in 53 meters and one point, while Matt Corral produced 198 meters and a TD at 18-of-29 passed. Corral was intercepted twice.
Perkins finished 12 out of 23 passes of 132 meters with a touchdown and an interception. Nate McCetary had 14 berries for 53 meters, and Simms, Siaosi Mariner and Gunnar Oakes each had three catches.
