Hutch Releases Debut EP 'On The Edge Of The Earth', Led By New Single 'Sorry'

New British singer-songwriter and pianist Hutch has released his debut EP, “At the Edge of the Earth”via Deep End recordingswhich marks the arrival of a striking new voice in the UK’s contemporary soul landscape. Alongside the project, the 24-year-old shares his focus track, ‘Sorry’ – a confessional and emotionally raw single that encapsulates the themes that run through the record.

The six-track EP comes amid growing momentum for Hutch, who was recently named one of them The BBC introduces … Ones To Watch 2026and and has received praise from artists including where are you, Maverick Sabre, Kojey Radical, Clean and What a Lingo.

Built around themes such as healing, self-reflection and personal growth, “At the Edge of the Earth” draws from Hutch’s own experiences navigating a turbulent adolescence. Throughout the project, he explores the tension between chaos and calm, documenting the process of finding clarity after years of emotional noise.

‘Sorry’ sits at the heart of the EP’s story. Driven by lush production and soulful vocals, the song sees Hutch confront uncomfortable truths with an honesty that has quickly become a defining feature of his songwriting. It’s a vulnerable performance that balances emotional weight with melodic restraint.
