Following its exciting move to Manchester this year, it has been announced that The BRIT Awards will return to its new Co-op Live home in 2027.
Next year’s ceremony will take place on Saturday 27 February on ITV1 and ITVX. The event will see fans across the UK and the world come together to celebrate the year’s biggest artists and most exciting music, with the ceremony celebrating 50 years since the very first BRIT Awards were televised.
Stacey Tang, Co-President of RCA Records at Sony Music UK, will chair the BRITs Committee and oversee all aspects of the 2027 show, including the creative direction, supported by the committee made up of representatives from the UK’s major and independent labels, BRITs TV and the BPI, the representative voice of the UK’s world-leading labels and record companies.
This year’s BRIT Awards delivered its biggest ever global audience and record social reach, cementing the show’s status as a global stage to showcase the best in international music and the next generation of British talent. This was supported with an extraordinary line-up, including Harry Styles, EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, the singing voices of HUNTR/X, Mark Ronson, Olivia Dean, ROSALÍA, RAYE, Alex Warren and Wolf Alice, help make the 2026 show one of the most talked about BRITs yet.
Beyond the night itself, The BRITs took Manchester by storm in the weeks leading up to the show, through a number of exciting on-ground activations, a city-wide cultural program and the first ever BRITs Fringe, while a record-breaking BRITs Week for War Child saw even more gigs take place across the UK than ever before, with the likes of Robbie De Williams, Albini and everyone else bringing along Robbie De Williams, Albini and Olivia. location scenes to help raise an astonishing £1.16m for War Child.
