A Las Vegas local had a Wednesday to remember after winning a huge baccarat jackpot at an off-Strip resort.
The Palms Casino Resort said in a press release Thursday that the lucky winner, identified as Jian W., won more than $1 million playing baccarat.
The Palms said the Las Vegas venue hit the jackpot while betting with a $5 progressive side bet.
“The guest hit a rare baccarat jackpot with an unusually suited winning hand combination,” the property said.
The resort noted that Jian celebrated the life-changing moment with family and friends on the casino floor.
