Multi-platinum artist ZAYN has released his highly anticipated fifth studio album, CONTINUES, via Mercury Records.
He marks his most culturally inspired project to date, CONTINUES focuses on the influence of South Asian vocal and rhythmic traditions. The snow leopard, a profound symbol of South Asia, on the album cover shows how deeply his heritage has inspired the record. Co-produced by ZAYN alongside Malay, the album expands on the sound fans first heard on his record-breaking debut studio album, Mind of Mine.
The 15-track album is preceded by the single ‘Die For Me’ and ‘Sideways’, a moody pop R&B record powered by ZAYN’s signature falsetto. The opening track “Nusrat”, an ode to Pakistani musician Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, serves as the creative anchor for CONTINUESwhich set vocal experimentation and sound direction that shaped the album.
ZAYN’s latest single “Side Effects” leans toward sleek, radio-ready pop-R&B, pairing warm synths with his signature falsetto as he explores the complexities of love and devotion. Tracks like ‘Fatal’ introduce a more dance-driven energy, designed for the live stage with flowing bass lines and an infectious pulse, while ‘Breathe’ offers a softer, atmospheric moment of release.
ZAYN – CONTINUES
In support of the album, ZAYN will be going out the KONNAKOL tour, his biggest solo tour to date. The tour kicks off in Manchester on May 12 and will span major cities across the globe, including London, Los Angeles, Mexico City, São Paulo. The tour ends in Miami on November 20.
Earlier this year, ZAYN wrapped up his first ever Las Vegas residency, where he debuted and teased unreleased material from CONTINUES.
