A visitor from Los Angeles hit a $242,677 jackpot Saturday playing a Dragon Link slot at the Palms, according to a casino spokesman.
The jackpot was hit on a $25 machine in the high limit range, betting $125 on the spin at the time of the win.
The spokesperson added that the player was in Las Vegas for a short stay but now plans to extend his trip after the big win. She celebrated the moment with excitement and shared that her first plan is to enjoy a nice dinner with her husband.
