BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend is back! This year’s three-day event will head to Sunderland’s Herrington Country Park on Friday 22nd – Sunday 24th May with the line-up now confirmed.
Zara Larsson headlines the summer vibes at Saturday’s event, alongside Ellie Goulding, Louis Tomlinson and Lola Young. On Sunday, GRAMMY and BRIT Award winner Olivia Dean will headline alongside Kehlani, CMAT, Niall Horan, Myles Smith and more. Ahead of the big weekend itself, there’s also a Friday dance lineup with legendary DJ Fatboy Slim performing alongside the likes of Sonny Fodera and MK.

How do I get tickets for BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend?
Tickets for Friday’s event are available now. Tickets for Saturday and Sunday will, however, be released on Wednesday, March 11 at 5 p.m. Click here to access tickets.
There are 31,000 general admission tickets and 2,960 VIP tickets available per day. You can buy one maximum two tickets per transaction, per day.
You must be 18+ to purchase Friday tickets or VIP tickets over the weekend. General admission tickets for Saturday and Sunday are suitable for all ages but under 15s must always be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, make sure you have permission from your parent and/or guardian to participate. Those aged 2 and under do not need a ticket but must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
How much are tickets for BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend?
Friday General admission tickets cost £34.50 (£30.00 + £4.50 booking fee).
VIP tickets on Friday will cost £86.00 (£80.00 + £6.00 booking fee) – Visit VIP page for more information on what this includes.
General admission tickets on Saturday and Sunday will cost £44.50 (£40.00 + £4.50 booking fee) per ticket, per day.

How are tickets distributed for BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend?
General admission tickets for BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend are divided into three ‘pots’.
Pot 1 – 30% of tickets are reserved for Sunderland City Council residents. These will be reserved for seven days when tickets go on sale – any unsold will be available for general sale.
Pot 2 – 60% of tickets are reserves for residents from the wider NECA region (County Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland and South Tyneside). These will be reserved for seven days when tickets go on sale – any unsold will be available for general sale.
Pot 3 – 10% of tickets are unreserved and available for anyone in the UK to buy.
